With a specification that shouts ‘attention to detail’ coupled with energy saving technology and built-in reliability, SANY empty container handlers offer busy port operations an efficient and cost-effective way to move 20ft-40ft International Standard Containers.
The high-torque (Volvo or Cummins) diesel engine not only provides quick, smooth operation, but also optimises performance and economy. As well as electronic monitoring of diagnostic and maintenance systems, standard features include fuel and water separation plus protection systems for the engine and transmission.
Thanks to a fully electric EFI control system, SANY’s empty container handlers benefit from improved engine performance, better fuel economy and improved emissions control.
Fitted with a Dana or Clark gearbox and Kessler drive axle, the container handler employs BUS throttle control technology to deliver efficient and responsive acceleration. By avoiding unnecessary loading in low speeds, engine wear is minimised.
There are 14 SANY empty container handlers to choose from, ranging in capacity from 8,000kg to 10,000kg and with the capability to stack from six or seven containers to six to nine containers. They are fitted with an SDJ or ELME spreader for precise single and double box handling.
All model variants employ advanced hydraulic load-sensing technology, which automatically detects the load weight and delivers the precise power needed ensuring balanced, stable performance.
