Cooper Specialised Handling Ireland COVID-19 Statement
We are monitoring the situation of the corona virus COVID-19 closely in our company, and by preventative measures we strive to reduce any possible impact of the virus on our activities.
COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) causes respiratory illness. Symptoms include:
Fever
Cough
Wheezing
Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
Our Management team is liaising daily and continues to monitor the situation, following guidance and advice from Public Health England and the UK Government. We are also in contact with our customers and are liaising with them to keep updated with their management of the current situation on their sites.
We have so far taken the following steps to ensure the Health and Safety of all employees and customers:
We have implemented non-essential corporate travel guidance to our staff.
Office staff have been advised to work from home where possible and as such, we have reduced the number of staff within the office to a minimum. All staff working from home have access to our phone lines and emails and we will ensure that we continue to operate at as close to normal level as possible.
Engineering staff have been advised to wash hands on arrival and departure from site, carry hand sanitiser where possible and avoid shaking hands and physical contact.
